Our Story
Fawnfeel started from a mother’s vision to create a world where babies are dressed in the most comfortable, safe and sustainable clothing. After working over a decade as a doctor, Manasi decided to address the entrepreneurial bug in her when she had her own son. As an obsessive mother, she was in search of the best quality fabric for her baby that would be safe and gentle for his soft, sensitive skin. That’s when she came across bamboo based clothing as a perfect solution to keep her baby cool in warm weather and safe from allergens at the same time!
Bamboo fabric is soft, delicate, lightweight, breathable and has inherent thermo-regulation and anti-bacterial properties. The feel of the fabric comes close to a mother’s warm, secure, cozy touch and it’s just the right thing for Indian weather conditions. Along with Bamboo, high quality cotton and muslin clothes are much safer for the baby’s skin as compared to synthetic or synthetic blended fabrics commonly used. We believe that every baby deserves the best, and that includes clothing that is not only comfortable and safe, but also kind to the environment.
When Dr. Manasi decided to transition from a medical professional, to a mother and eventually to a Mom-preneur, her husband supported her in this journey and together they aimed to solve some of the problems faced by new parents just like them. They decided that the mission of their company would be to deliver mom-like-love for babies, in every fold and fiber of the fabric so that all mothers can happily balance their work-duties and mom-duties.
Fawnfeel is dedicated to providing sustainable and eco-friendly clothing options for newborn babies. Our main focus is bamboo clothing, as bamboo is a highly renewable resource that grows quickly and requires minimal water and pesticides to thrive. We believe that the future of fashion starts with the smallest members of society, and we are passionate about reducing the environmental impact of textile production.
